Pastor Forrest C. Cooper serves as our spiritual leader with dedication to the youth of our church and the community. With the support of the Mt. Gale administrative leaders, deacons, and teachers we dedicate significant resources to empowering our youth with strong Christian principles.

Pastor Forrest C. Cooper, a native of Prattsville, AR, serves as Pastor of Mt. Gale Missionary Baptist Church. He is married to Lady Cleo L. Cooper with two daughters, Chassidy and Carli Cooper. Under his leadership and guidance, Mt. Gale continues to grow and provide spiritual impact as well as to the world for Christ through family.
Growing up in Prattsville, AR, Pastor Cooper was baptized at Davis Creek Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Clarence Jackson. Though his calling was was revealed at an early age, he remained reluctant until 1992; when he preached his first sermon at New Hope Baptist Church in North Little Rock, AR where the late Don Kelly served as Pastor and E.D. Larry ordained him. Pastor Cooper continues to lead his flock on a spirit led journey fulfilling his calling. The years of 1994-1997, he served as Pastor of Barnett Chapel Baptist Church and God chose him in 1999 to be the Pastor of Mt. Gale Missionary Baptist Church.
During this time of the unknown, Pastor Cooper has taken the necessary measures to protect his sheep. "Cover up is appropriate and for a great necessity at this hour during the pandemic. Being covered by the blood is for your soul. The mortal flesh, physical frame, and frail body is subjected to the ills of our human land. Please, for the safety of yourself and others, cover up! Faith is not foolish. Let's cover up to do things in good order."
Lady Cleo Cooper is a native of Little Rock, AR and a graduate of Southern Technical College, where she earned her degree in Computer Programming. In her professional career, she is a head teacher at a developmental center, where she works with students with disabilities.
Lady Cooper is a humble and faithful servant for Christ. She has genuine concern for God's people and exhibits it through her daily walk with Christ. With the love for people, in general, she has never met a stranger. She has devoted herself to ministry by sharing God's word. Lady Cooper devotes herself to ministry by sharing her personal testimony, gifts, talents, which includes preaching, teaching, and spreading the Word of God wherever she go.
Lady Coopers's belief is that if God is glorified, His people are edified; she accepts the challenge of boldly speaking out for God. With knowing that if He orders our steps, God will lead us in the right direction. Lady Cooper dedicates her life to helping others and genuinely loving everyone. Her commitment to the Lord and her family allows her to live a life that is uplifting for others and pleasing in His eyes.
